Positions Available

Administrative/Accounting Assistant

To provide quality support for the office and finance team. To exhibit desirable, professional behavior and teamwork in accomplishing the goals.

GENERAL DUTIES:

  1. Creating various documents such as Professional Service Agreements, Lien Documents and various other documents as requested
  2. Maintain PSA books and Pending Contract Files
  3. Send Contracts as requested
  4. Manage Lien Releases
  5. Route PSA copies to appropriate project managers at both locations
  6. Follow up via certified mail on outstanding client PSAs
  7. Assist with monthly billing process
  8. Assist with A/R collections of bad debt
  9. Maintain Employee Roster
  10. Export, Code and attach receipts for the American Express
  11. Distribute incoming mail to appropriate employees
  12. Prepare and set up outgoing mail, overnights, and deliveries
  13. Prepare and Post Daily bank deposits
  14. Run Credit Cards sent for payment for clients
  15. Maintain operation of postage meter, copier, and plotter. Call for service when needed, order supplies as needed
  16. Maintain office supplies at both office locations
  17. Exhibit appropriate professional behavior including integrity, ability to learn, results oriented, ability to interact effectively with others, team playing, sense of urgency and a quality focus to provide for a cohesive, productive unit dedicated to the achievement of company and department goals
  18. Other administrative/office support as requested

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Field Surveyor

Drexel, Barrell & Co., a premier civil engineering and land surveying consultant, serving Colorado since 1949, seeks qualified applicants in our Colorado Springs Office for: Field Surveyor -- Position requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience in performing ALTA's, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, construction staking and calculations. Experience with GPS, robotics and conventional survey technologies and techniques required. Requires a valid driver's license and good driving record. Excellent and competitive wages depending on experience. Having passed the NCEES Fundamentals of Surveying exam and having a working knowledge of AutoCad are a plus.

Water Resources Engineer

Drexel, Barrell & Company has been serving Colorado communities for over 70 years. We have an immediate opening for an ambitious Water Resources engineer. This position offers the ability to work either in the office (Lafayette) or remotely if necessary. The position requires a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, a CO PE license, and 8 or more years of progressive experience in public sector with water resources engineering.
