DBC provided professional engineering services to support the repair of failing wingwall structures at the 48th Court crossing of North Goose Creek. The project included anchoring and bracing the existing wingwalls and installing stacked boulders (3-foot diameter, 6-foot height) along the front face of the walls at an 8V:1H slope to enhance stability and erosion protection. The repair area was located within the floodplain, floodway (conveyance zone), and high hazard zone. The site also fell within the City’s wetland inner buffer, requiring careful coordination and permitting for both floodplain development and wetland impacts.
